The South Central Youth Drop In is a brand new event that
occurs on the second Sunday of each month. Each month, a
different congregation hosts all of the teens from the
participating congregations. In October, we met at
Wellington, KS. November's event took place at Winfield,
KS. In December, we will meet at the Derby Church of
Christ, Derby, KS. Belle Plaine, KS will host in January
2011.
We have no special speakers or song leaders. The idea is
that we simply visit other congregations on a Sunday
evening and get to know other teenage Christians in our
area. Generally, a meal is served to the teens after
services. We have had roughly 50-60 in attendance at our
first two meetings, not including the host congregation.If you would like to know more about
